This may be a rhetorical question, but there may be objective coverage of world events in Switzerland or something. I'd just like to know how citizens obtain their news. In particular, do you believe most US citizens just believe what foxnews and other "liberal media" tells them? Where can one find a true journalistic approach to news?

I'll gladly look at any online sources. Thanks in advance.

Certainly governments put news out to put the best spin on their own administrations and that is, I suppose, understandable. We all do that each day. However, we live ina country with a "free?" press that chooses to report bizarre news. People want to hear crap and the news organizations feed it out daily and public officials make it easy by handing out press releases and that lazy reporters use for news. The US should be propaganda proof because we have a free press but what we have is a sleazy press. Did you know that in the major networks the news divisions have all been moved under the control of the entertainment section and must show a profit, just like a sitcom? So thats why we have such crappy news and don't know much about things.
