ESPN analyst Phillips is Ozzie's latest target

TUCSON, Ariz. -- White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen said Thursday he hopes ESPN baseball analyst Steve Phillips' latest statement about him is correct.
Because as far as Guillen is concerned, if Phillips is right about his speculation on Guillen's job security, it would be the first time.
Phillips said on the air Wednesday that Guillen is the manager most on the hot seat this season.
It wasn't the first time the former New York Mets general manager has been critical of Guillen. That has left the Sox' skipper to think it is personal.
''Every time I talk to him, he tries to be nice to me,'' Guillen said. ''If I'm in that position [on the hot seat], then I'm in great shape because I have two more years on my contract. And I guarantee him if I'm done with the White Sox, I can go to my house or get another job.
Can someone get him some cheese?

The most annoying thing about ozzie is that he is stupid enough to believe what he says is true.
Having 2 more years on his contract doesnt mean a heck of a whole lot, and if he believes it does well than he is stupider than I thought.
And yes, I've got this dirty old crusty RED sock that has been laying around my brother's apartment for nearly 7 years that I can stuff in his mouth.

What's your point. Ozzie isn't on the hot seat and every national media person who has said so needs to get a clue. Sorry to bother you with a story not about the Yankees, how did ESPN ever manage to fit it in?

i agree shut that coplainer up. i still remember last year when he had that rookie hit the texas ranger, and he missed. Ozzie got pissed off and was throwing stuff at him. i think he said something like "you play smart ball with ozzie guillen or you dont play at all."
