Albert Pujols is definately the most complete. While it would be tough to say he is a complete 5 tool talent, as he only had 7 steals last year. He is the best all around. Last year he hit .331 he had 49 HRs and drove in 137 runs. He helped his team win the World Championship. Pujols also won the Gold Glove at first. He can even play outfield. People will say jeter but I beg to differ. His HR numbers are low. Pujols' steals numbers are low possibly because he is not given the chance to run. He stole %77 of the attempts last year. Can Jeter (has Jeter) play (ed) two positions? Pujols is the most complete!

As far as complete player Jose Reyes has no competition. He can play defense, hit for avergae as well as a little power, steal bases, and he also is a smart player. There are better hitters than him, and possibly a few better fielders but none that bring both to the table as well as him, not to mention stealing bases.

Wow, Reyes has ONE good season and now he's the most complete baseball player. I would say A-Rod(excluding last season) would be the most complete player.

Reyes, Whys everyone saying A-rod, ok so "Error-Rod" is complete? Lets see, his fielding sucks something awful, and his bat isn't too hot. Most complete IS Reyes, BECAUSE he is a 5-tool player, and he spends tons of times with charity and all that. So he performs great on AND off the field.

Jose Reyes of the NY Mets. He's what you call a 5 tool player. He can run, hit with power, throw like a cannon, great glove, hit for average, and he's got youth.

I would say Derek Jeter. He has come into his own as a fielder winning the past two Gold Glove awards at SS. Was 2nd in MVP last season. Mr Clutch.

That would have to be Derek Jeter. He can hit consistently, is a golden glove in the field, can run the bases, is a great team captain, and is a class act on and off the field.
