And didn't have to listen to anybody else in the world. What would your life be like? How would things run in the world?

I'm doing an assignment in English about this, so please don't make up stupid answers. Be serious and be real. Get into detail and deep descriptions.

okay, that's quite a heavy demand but i will try my best.

im not sure if you believe in the Bible or not but my answer would be based on the assumption that you are at least familiar with the adam and eve story.

when adam and eve were placed in the garden of eden, there were no other people there. it was just the two of them. everything was perfect and they had everything they needed: food, idyllic surroundings, all of creation was at its best. there was no pain, no hunger, no inflation, no bomb threats, no international politics, no discrimination, nothing.

and yet they managed to make a mess with the perfection they were in. of course there was the temptation and all that but the point is that having a perfect environment with nobody pressuring you to do something you don't like is not a guarantee that you will have the perfect life.

i guess the underlying principle is that wherever you are, whatever situation you are in, whoever you are with, it's still your CHOICE that's gonna matter at the end of the day.

to substantiate my answer, allow me to quote from history. if you've heard of the story of corrie teen boom, the danish (check this, im not sure if shes danish or what) woman who hid hundreds of jews during the nazi period, you will find out that even in the worst of circumstances, she chose to do right. after the ordeal she went through, including a horrible stay at the infamous auschwitz concentration camp, she chose not to hate her tormentors.

its your choice that matters, not anything else from the outside.

so to answer your question, i guess i would still end up the way i am right now. of course there would be same slight variations but i'd basically be the same person.

The problem with our question is that people say they would do great things like fix the AIDS epidemic or end the war in Iraq, but in actulality they may be indulged in themselves, but i know if I ruled the world I would not be indulged in myself and launch a worldwide campagn to end Narcisstic(selfish) thoughts because they both cause physcological disorders to develop and keep people from helping others and learning new things. Also, if I did this then when someone else thought about what they would do when they owned the world I would know that they could change it for the better and not for themselves.

Everyone would enjoy cooperating. People would see a problem like the AIDS epidemic, global warming, job outsourcing, etc. and would not say, "How can I defeat the people who oppose my response to this problem?" but would instead say, "How can we negotiate a reasonable solution to this problem?" In other words, people would have an easier time putting self-interest behind shared interests.

The perfect person for you to research would be Paris Hilton. I can't think of anyone else who hasn't had anyone tell them what to do besides her. Good luck.
