to make pig masks or paper mache pig figures?
I myself would not think that muslims would be offended.
I just think that this is political correctness gone mad!!!

I was asking this because I work with
children. When we were making our
programme activities to celebrate Chinbese New Year I suggested we
could make some masks, paint them pink etc., only to be told by another playworker that we could not do this because it would offend Muslims. I
really thought this was mad! So we
did not make them we made lanterns, etc. Working with children from all over
the world, we like to celebrate as many
festivals as we can. Also encouraging
parents to give us ideas. So I am sorry -
as I have asked this question I plainly
have caused you offence!!! It was a
genuine question because I do not think
Muslims would be offended. As I said -
