Maybe you're commas, and parenthesis aren't in the right places. Also, if the source you are copying has java script and other things like it, it won't work. It needs to have the java program to run in the folder to see as well.
You can check out the source for my website, www.enived.com. I wrote it using HTML and its very simple, nothing fancy. My husband is a computer programmer and he said they way I was writing the source code was the best way to learn.

I don't know about frontpage, but when I was playing with html, I had to save the codes at either a htm or html file from notepad or word. Then I went to internet explorer and opened it. Hope this helps.

Save the file before you preview it.
You should also make sure that you've copied ALL of the source code and that you don't have any open tags.
The number one cause of blank pages is open tags.
For example, in code view, start at the top of the document and work your way down. Look for
your page content would go here. |
Between the body tags, make sure that the

When you want to view what you have made, make sure that when you save it you are using a .html or .htm ending. Most programs automatically put in the ending, you just have to select how you want to save it. Click on the dropdown bar just below the "Name" field that you type in the saved name and find one of those two endings or Internet Explorer.
If that still doesn't work, cut and paste it to your notepad (Start, all programs, accessories, notepad). Then save it as I have described above.
Thanks,
Charlie

what you are doing is illegal. Source code is intellectual property and should you get caught out it is possible that you can land real prison time as well as hefty fines, up to 100k in the US.
you will struggle to do more than this as you don't have the images and I am willing to bet you haven't ste your head and body sections correctly. Your best bet is to stop stealing other people's code and learn to use HTML properly. I also suggest that you bookmark sites you like then try to recreate them using your own code. this is a good way of developing your skills.

You must save the file as .html, not as .txt.
