It depends on the person and the time of the month. Some women do have bigger sex drives, but then some have smaller. Same with men.

Women are more orgasmic, and our hormones do vary more in a month. The hormone variation thing means that we often have different desire levels at different times. Sometimes this is very subtle, sometimes not. Heck, some women can tell they're ovulating or about to get their periods because of how dead sexy every man suddenly becomes.

The more orgasmic thing just means that we are capable of having a lot more orgasms in a limited time than you guys are. We can have multiple orgasms more easily, and we're only limited in number by how much our muscles can take. That doesn't translate into desire for sex, necessarily, but once we get started, we can often go a lot longer than you can.

Men have more tesosterone, the chemical that produces sex drive.

Women almost always prefer the guy to make the first move anyway, because of the way we have evolved.

Women may be interested in having sex as much as guys, but they don't like to show it. They prefer to feel attractive and have men pursue them. It's just the way we are.

This is a two way street you are talking about. It's known that man and woman are no created the same. Remember that woman was put on this earth as help mate to a man. So by for man as more sexual oriented than women. but they do have some females out here that have way more sex than a man.

I have to say I think it is the males. If it were the females, they would be exhibiting some of the same characteristics that some men do which is to sow your seed everywhere. I believe most females view sex twofold 1) for pleasure and 2) for procreation purposes.

Yes, your friend is right. The reason? The need to have babies. Not that some of us WANT to have children, but the primal urge to reproduce is still there. And as woman grow older, and our eggs are limited, our sex drive goes up, in hopes to "fertilize" one of those eggs before its to late.
