I am getting a head ache everyday since taking the pill about 4 or so hours after I take it. It is the worse head ache I've ever had. I also feel like I am going to PUKE! Excedrin seemed to help a bit, and all I have in the house right now is TUMS for my stomach. I do not want to mix a million different medications in my system. But I also do not want to feel like I am going to puke all day at work. I am assuming this is from the pill. During my period I didn't have that bad a stomach ache.. but now that my period is over.. it seems like it's gotten worse! I want to wait a few days before I talk to the doctor because this may just be my body reacting to my first time taking birth control pills. Can anyone give me tips on how to feel better?? The pill I am taking is Levlen.. I'd like any feedback on that pill too. THANKS!!

Ugggh! The pill is the worst... no matter what one I tried, it made me feel all yucky and weird. I hated it.

I suggest you try the Depo shot or that new NuvaRIng... I've heard that it's awesome!

First I went the condom route, then the pill, then the IUD (after I had my first baby) and now I have my tubes tied... that was the only thing, that really works, which is neither a pain in the butt nor makes me ill and there's no more worrying about getting pregnant anymore! Yayeee!

I'm back on the pill now after having my son in July, it also caused me to feel bad the first week. Infact I almost stopped taking it. I felt very sick to my stomach and had headaches. However, if your symptoms don't stop soon you definitely need to see the dr. because there are other brands of the pill and other birth control options! Good luck.

I asked my Dr. an analogous difficulty, I in user-friendly terms get mine 4days and that i hate those being Friday sat solar mon, so I asked her if i could swap my Sunday to sat, or Friday so as that it’d back those days up some.. and he or she reported definite you are able to, in basic terms follow it, don’t toggles each and each month back and forth. I’ve been taking them Friday nights now for 2 years and haven’t had a concern!! in basic terms be consistent!! this is likewise why maximum pills have stickers to attach over the dates in case you don’t start up on solar! i think of solar is in user-friendly terms a widely used start up so we don’t get at a loss for words!!

What I am posting to you are the side effects of this drug. I would suggest you calling your doctor and switching brands. He may suggest waiting another month to see if you adjust to the medication.

Nausea, vomiting, headache, stomach cramping/bloating, dizziness, vaginal discomfort/irritation, increased vaginal fluids, or breast tenderness/enlargement may occur. Acne may improve or get worse. Vaginal bleeding between periods (spotting) or missed/irregular periods may occur, especially during the first few months of use. If any of these effects persist or worsen, notify your doctor promptly.
