drug addicted people have drug rehab places to go to when they need help... is there any thing I can do to try to have people in the higher political offices help other offenders have a safe place to go to help themselves before they end up in trouble? Any suggestions on how to go about this?

I have run into many people that are offenders and they have stated to me that if there was a safe place to go before they offended... they would not have offended the way they did and ... this will also help society to have safe havens for these people to go and get the help they need in a safe... secretive way... any suggestions would be great... thanks... please don't respond with an answer of that would be pointless... trust me I am asking this question for a good reason... any info. on what I can do or who to contact would be great.

its a shame that a pedophile shows definite signs of becoming an abuser, but we cannot find a way to stop it in early childhood.the same is true of serial killers.but i do have one suggestion.the schools and psych. people should start teaching children how to coexist,and put a higher value system on respecting the emotions and life of others.nothing can change a person more than to see the effects of their behavior on their peers.want to stop a bully,put him in the victims heart. let them feel the hurt inside of their souls.also to realize how it effects them and their family's into future generations

Well, I'm not sure if you're open to this suggestion but I would look for a local church and talk to the pastor or councilor there. Usually they are very well trained and experienced in dealing with these kinds of problems...i mean after all, people don’t really go to church because everything in their life is so GOOD. You go there for help and to be changed. Besides churches offer a lot of services for free and offer the community support and accountabilty that is hard to find other places.
God is still in the business of changing lives...He changed mine ;)

I am not a movie "buff", but in order to make a strong "analogy-so to speak"---watch The Last Samurai. It is scientifically proven that the Oriental people are the smartest race because of the size of their cerebrum (dinosaurs were humongous, but had pea size brains and are extinct now) It is my opinion that they are the most disciplined race also. Detoxing from alcohol is the only addiction that will literally kill you---did you have knowledge of that?! Sorry, just watch the movie.

I once new a sex addict and there was only one way to detox this person the major problem was the amount of pregnancies.
