Mineral makeup is the best foundation to use. I suggest Jane Iredale or Pur Minerals. Bare Escentuals is nice, but doesn't cover very much...(although if that's what you want go for it).
If you never wear makeup, why don't you go to a makeup consultant and see the different natural looks they have, or ask a girlfriend to make you over?
I suggest:
1. Curling your lashes and putting waterproof mascara on
2. Wearing waterproof eyeliner if you can
3. Wearing a light eyeshadow to keep it natural
4. DEFINITELY wearing blush on the apples of your cheeks
5. A light bronzer to warm up your face if need be
6. A powder to set it (with a bit of concealer underneath).
- for very strong foundation coverage if your skin is bad, then go for the mineral makeup, but if you don't need it, then a concealer and powder would do it. Try Cover Girl's TruBlend line, they match 97% of all skintones. But without knowng what kind of skin you have, I can't suggest anything else.
7. Pick a nice shade of lipstick (Almay Hyrdacolour is nice or Cover Girl TruShine), about 2 shades darker than your own natural lip cover.
And voila!
Extra steps
- If you want to shell out for it, buy MAC's, Smashbox or Makeup Forever's "Primers". They are these priming agents for your face that you put on, and wait. It will create a nice, clean, blank canvas for the makeup to go on smoother and easier. You can also waterproof and set ALL of your makeup using any of those 3 brands' lines.

Bare minerals. Its so easy to use, and it just looks like you have perfect skin. I hate wearing makeup but this stuff is such a fine application that I feel comfortable touching my face. And... you'll photograph well. They have a starter kit for $60. Check it out at Sephora.com. Its well worth it. Comes with a foundation and a warmth which brings out your facial structure and can be used as blush as well. Basically this make up makes you look healthy in a perfect glowing skin kind of way instead of painted over or made up.

Seeing has how you don't wear makeup usually, I would suggest you go to a prof., because I am sorry no Avon or Mary Kay lady is going to know how to apply makeup for pictures. Everyday, okay, but not for this special occasion. No offense to the Avon and MK ladies out there. Anyway and you don't want to do it yourself, because you are not experienced and you don't want to mess it up. You might want to go to an Ulta in your area they usually charge about $50(cheap in my industry) or maybe an Aveda concepts salon (they use natural makeup) and have them do it. Because this is a memorable time and you might as well get it done right and love the way you look on your special day. I wish you the best of luck!:)

I suggest getting a "test run" make over at a department store. Most stores will either give you one for free or you just have to buy an item from them. Explain to the beautician exactly what you want, a natural glowing look, and tell them that this is a look you need to copy on your wedding day. They will help you learn exactly how to apply it to get the look you want. I had mine done at the Clinique counter for my wedding and they did a beautiful job. Their make up is really nice for sensitive skin, hypo-allergenic and they have sheerest, lightest but the most coverage foundation I have seen yet. On my wedding day I bought their white thickening mask for eyelashes that you put on before your mascara and it works really well. I have always been a frequent at their counter and I do suggest their "Gentle Light Make up" foundation.

I just got married in August, so I gotta tell you that you NEED to get Bare Minerals foundation and their Mineral Veil. It will give you a naturally flawless look and the mineral veil will soak up any oil and shine, which is exactly what you need for the millions of pictures that are going to be taken of you that day!!! I use everything from them except their eyeliner. Their mascara and lipgloss are great too.

I use Bare Minerals. I think it's the greatest make up ever. It looks so natural...it feels so natural...and it's last a long time. I know this might sound a little cheesy, but i took a picture of myself when I first bought the make up to see how the make up looked. I wanted to see what other people see when they look at me and i was so impressed with the way my face looked. It completely evened out my skin tone, covered my ugly dark under eye circles, and looked so natural!! I looked like me but with great skin and no "make up line". Try it!!

Hon its your wedding! make an appointment ahead of time for an occasion and have your make up done by a professional, pay attention, ask questions, after all you are paying for it. Then practice doing it. If you never wear make up then you will need to research it a little, learn from professionals, learn from friends. Or an idea is to have a make up party with you and your bridesmaids , Mom etc and then the professional comes to your house for you.(Mary Kay consultants will do partys).

I would take advantage of those free makeovers at department stores. Call an avon lady or maybe you have a Mary Kay store where you live? They will show you how to apply and what is the best for your skin tone. Good luck and Congrats!
