retrieve older address's and contacts?

some one was got in to my yahoo account and yahoo had to deactivate it. I lost all my address and contact names,plus my folder messages. Can I get this information back and if so how. I now have a new yahoo account. Hope some one can solve this problem. Thanks

Ask your friends or family if they have your old Yahoo Email address.

Then, log on to Yahoo using your old User Name and look for a link that says something like "Forgot Password". They will send you a new password so you can "Export" your old addresses. Then, you can "Import" them into your new Yahoo account.

While there, "forward any old Email massages you want to keep to your new Yahoo Email address.

Tip: In Yahoo Addresses, look for "Import/Export" on the far right.
