I feed a blend of 8in1 and ZuPreem...I've been researching and Wyosing brand seems to be the "Cadilac" of ferret foods.

It has a listing of ferret and cat foods by their quality for ferrets. I am on a forum and the vets and longtime ferret breeders all say that it is pretty accurate. A type of Wysong is at the top of the list.
Personally, I feed Zupreem (which is a #2 category with 8 in 1ultimate) and I love it. It also has a higher fat and protien content than some of the top foods. The #1 brands are not available anywhere near my town, and it costs way to much to ship a bag of food, so I stick with Zupreem. My ferrets stays healthy and active, so it works for me.

I always used Sheppard and Greene ferret food, but I've had people recommend Totally Ferret. They said it made them smell less, but I can't back that up.

I tried all the ferret foods but still mine liked dry cat food better then any of them. I cant say that its the most healthy choice but they seem to like it.

my ferrett would not eat the tradional food he was supposed to, he loved chefs blend cat food, lucky charms [without the marshmellows] cheerios,and a lick ob butter as a treat.. it didnt hurt him, and i had him 8 years.
