They are getting on my wick. Am I just envious?

I sort of want one, but the more I think about it, the more I feel like it's an aristocratic, elitist type of thing. Makes me not want one as much. But what can you do? Keep answering and you'll eventually end up with one whether you want it or not. There should be a option to hide it.

God bless.

The badge may as well say "I waste more time on Yahoo! Answers than anyone one else!" No offense to anyone, this thing can get kind of addicting.

I'm fairly certain that elligibility for the "Top Contributor" badge is just based on the number of questions you answer.

Been away for a couple of days so just seen them, don't know if I want one as I answer a broad range of questions, so would probably never earn one as I don't stick to one category.

Is the top contributor for asking or answering questions?

I choose what is interesting or helpful in Answers, the badge doesn't mean a lot to me. Nor do I covert one, not enough time online & not knowledgeable enough
to earn the badge.

Nah, I don't want a grotty badge
I love Yahoo Answers and enjoy answering questions across the board
I couldn't stick to one category -It would get too repetitive
It's the fun of trying something new that keeps me coming back

I don't want one. I'm not sure how they determine who's knowledgeable - but I've seen some stupid answers from these so called 'Top Contributors'

Oh I think it's great, makes it easier to ignore them and not read their answer. They are the people that have big egos and think they know it all.
