I have a good friend from high school who tries to throw a St. Patrick's Day party every year, and this year he's doing it since it's on a Saturday. The normal party involves the Irish beer trifecta (Guinees Stout, Killian's Irish Red, and Harp Lager) and just sitting around listening to traditional Irish music. This year we're REALLY doing it up -- we've added a traditional Irish meal starting off with corned beef and cabbage and he's making some type of Irish dessert pastries that look like turnovers, the place will be decorated in green from stem to stern, we've added a few libations (Bailey's Irish Cream, Bushmill's Irish whiskey, and Irish Mist) and he's going to have The Clancy Brothers Live in Dublin playing on the big-screen TV. Best of all, we were able to get a hold of our close group of friends from high school (six of us all told) and they're all coming to the party. Should be one to remember for a long time...

I will be in Pattaya, Thailand. I am Irish so it should be a great day, all the man/girls will be dressed in green! Last time I was there it was xmas eve and they were all in sexy santa outfits. I forgot that it was also St. Patricks day, it will be fun all round!
I will be in Pattaya to see me ex boyfriend getting married, how ironic!

Well, this year, I'm throwing my daughter a party for her first birthday. (Yay!)

Last year, I was in the hospital with pre-eclampsia, awaiting my daughter's arrival.

Other years, I just made sure to wear my green and wish my brother a happy birthday.

So I suppose it's different every year. :-)
