You would have to ask the women, but generally these men make more money, are more mature and stable and typically have more experience which can give them an advantage over younger, more inexperienced men.

Most people on here are wrong!!!!!

Women marry older men because they are more available to be with than younger ones who are perhaps less reliable. The other reasons like maturity etc are not quite correct because there are plenty of younger men who are very mature and good looking and confident to handle a relationship. A lot of my own female friends don't all fancy older men - it is just the odd one or two of them and one likes older men because she never had a father figure in her life and the other because the older man she was seeing was young looking for his age but they had a lot in common.

I really don't believe that all young women like older men and because some older men are afraid of losing the younger woman to another man younger than him and so older guys tend to be quite insecure based upon my own experiences!. Very few age-gap relationships work out at all but the ones that do are rare and special. young women who like older men are all individual with individual needs but they often choose older men because they tend to be much more settled than younger ones and can provide a stable basis
for a relationship better.

There is no real secret to this at all.

elder person are matured and reliable. but younger are more unstable, and not serious with life. thats why girls get attracted towards elder. They have money, settled in life, experienced and know how to seduce girls, so these things attracts a girl. opposite young persons are strugglers, up-downs with their confidence....... so there are lot of things which matters,,,,, rest is depend on girls, what they want from life

Women mature quicker than men. Older men have their game together while younger men are still playing beer pong and living in an apartment that would be condemned by the city they were living in in a heartbeat.

It helps provide security...but of course it depends on each individual man. I've always dated guys who were older then me - usually by 10-15 years...but I married a man only 8 years older then me.

To get your answer,I asked a couple girls I date that are half my age, this is what they said........"Because you older guys have already made all the 'young guy' mistakes and learned from them,so we are more stable, more mature, and all around better husbands.
Besides...lets face it...a guy like you who was married for many years, and several GFs after that....We understand what a woman wants, and we know how to please her in bed,........practice makes perfect !!"

The maturity is attractive and feels secure. Feeling taken care of is nice too.

because they feel protected and safe with an older man who is supposed to be mature and financially stable.
However, this not always the case, I'm 22 and my girlfriend is 34 ..... we younger guys can really spice it up and they love it ;) (we dont need viagra) lol

I think that all changes once you get to about age 25. Most guys aren't mature until then.
