Whats better If wanna start a server::?

Whats better is I wanna start a serer to host games over the internet :
I got Windows NT . or Buy windows Server 2000.

and since both are for networks , what is the main difference ?

If you're considering running a game server, 2000 will work better.

The patches and updates will be more current plus there are additional networking and administration features available in Server 2000 that NT just doesn't have.

2000 will be way easier to run and administer than NT ever was but, if you're looking at buying a new server OS anyway, why not just pick up Server 2003?
