I have a really close relationship with a friend and then, she moved, to see her I'd go around the world so to speak. She lives a few hours driving distance away (and i can't drive yet) and i don't know how this'll work. She's never home when I call, doesn't check her e-mail, and I only see her once every three monthes. Any suggestions to help me keep in touch with her.

You say that you miss your best friend who moved away. Ask your parents if they can drive you to where your friend lives now.

While this may not be exciting to hear, your relationship with your friend may be one sided. She may not be able to or willing to keep up a long distance friendship.

It may be too sad for her to make the attempt to keep in touch.

She may have found new friends to keep time with and is truly too busy.

If you see her once every three months, try asking her directly if she still wants to remain friends. And tell her that you have tried to keep in touch via phone and internet.

If she doesn't read her mail and is never home, those a pretty big clues that she doesn't miss you as much as you miss her.

The truth is, that in a friendship BOTH parties must make an effort to keep in touch or it isn't a friendship at all.

Sorry.
