That's an odd question. I would say no they probably didn't go to school they were too busy farming or fighting

Etymologically "school" originates in Greek "Skhole" to Latin scola to old English a nd modern English School. Now as for dinners I cannot be certain. But they did have "Symposium" or symposia in plural. Read about them sometime. Interesting.

Of course they went to school!!!! Education and culture was important for them . As for school dinners, I am not sure I understand what you mean.

Sure, the lucky ones (all male of course) were mentored by the great sages, philosphers and wise men and were fed. One can not think well on an empty stomach.
