I couldn't agree with you more. U2 is in a league all their own. They have been able to stay relevant for almost 30 years. That's no small feat. Their music continues to inspire.
I've seen U2 in concert 4 times so far and there's no experience like it. I've actually converted several people to U2 fandom by bringing them with me to concerts.
It's difficult to put into words, but they mean the world to me.

Absolutely NOT!!!
IMHO - U2 is THE most over rated rock band of all time. There was a lot of promise when Boy was released, but it was all down hill after that - with one exception - Vertigo, the only U2 song that isn't off Boy that I like.
They are number 1 on my list of bands that must have made a deal with the devil to make it.

I haven't liked any of their albums since Achtung Baby, so I would have to say that they are not the greatest band of all time...I think that title goes to the Beatles.
Besides U2 havent had any real passion or rebellion in their music in years.

What do you advise they're everywhere you seem? thats an entire comedian tale. they're completely UNDERRATED authentic now. There cd revenues have been undesirable ( nevertheless i'm no longer able to comprehend ) , the only place they have been marketed in is Rolling Stones magazine. You arent even giving them a raffle. they are an excellent band. pay attention to their new cd. Its marvelous.

They are great, there are too many great bands for me to consider who`s the greatest.

Ive always loved them.
What i like most about them is that their pop style and their music has adapted with the times.
While maintaining their old fans, their new style brings in new fans. You dont see the Stones or Aerosmith doing that.
