Has anyone tried Bare Faced Minerals? I looked at their site and read about their makeup. It sounds like really good cosmetics, but I was wondering if anyone had ever tried it and if they recommended using this brand. Any information would be appreciated. www.barefacedminerals.com

I used to use Bare Esscentuals (minerals) makeup. It has bismuth oxychloride in it and I prefer not putting that on my face. I have tried several other brands of mineral makeup, but haven't tried bfminerals. Just wondering if anyone else had.

I think the prices are a little high and I do not think that these are the purest minerals that I have seen. Bear in mind that I have tried all brands of mineral makeup, such as Jane Iredale, Bare Escentuals, Everyday Minerals, Glo Minerals, Philosophy, Loreal, Physician Formula and a lot more that I cannot even remember their names. Having said that, I believe Everyday Minerals has the best quality and price. It is very pure and healing. Try everydayminerals.com.

I agree with Kat. Everyday Minerals is good and cost effective (10 grams=$12). It doesn't have bismuth oxychloride either. BareFaced looks a little pricey ($16=7 grams)

I haven't tried Bare Faced, but Pur Minerals or Jane Iredale are good brands that I don't think have bismuth in it.

I use, love, and recommend Arbonne as they formulate all of their products, including cosmetics, with natural botanicals that are pure, safe, and beneficial for all skin types, including combination and oily skin. They are Swiss products, regulated by the FDA and do not contain any harmful ingredients such as chemicals, wax, dyes, fragrances, animal products or bi-products, alcohol, acetone, or mineral oil. They also contain nanosphere which make them suitable for all skin types and adjusts to your skins specific needs (leaving more hydration in dry areas and less is oily areas).

Their color collection is convenient, customizable, and offers variety and simplicity. If you love the products, you have the option of purchasing them at 35% off which will save you a lot of money. Here's some additional info...

bareFaced Minerals is a great line of mmu. They offer lots of choices for colors and their velvet plush foundation is wonderful. The prices are comparable to other lines of mineral makeup.

I don't think they are offered at Ulta...you must be referring to some other line.

Their ingredients are natural and do not contain bismuth.
