Alex Ferguson is one of the greatest if not the greatest manager in footballing history and it will be a major loss when he leaves. Will we go down to the championship? (not division one shows what you know numpty)! Not a chance, even if we did go down we would pull in the crowds. When we were relegated in the seventies we were still recording some of the highest gate receipts week in week out. We currently sell 76000 tickets every game and would continue to do so. You only see the plastic fans not the true die hard fans.

in the early 70's when we went into division 2 for one season we were still getting bigger crowds than the teams in the top flight, and when SIR ALEX LEAVES we will still go marching on, name one manager that wouldn't manage manchester united given a chance,
you win the award for the stupiest question asked today, no this week, no ever.
manchester united could be managed by that clampet wenger and still win things.

i really doubt that losing ferguson will do that! if they keep the talent they have and buying the new talent they will stay right at the top!
