Gingrich didn't lie under oath. Remember Clinton was impeached on charges of perjury. When was the last time you had perjury between the sheets? I guess its OK for libs like yourself to bend the truth to fit you needs facts just aren't relevant are they?

Another lost soul seeking enlightenment.
First, everybody knew that Clinton was a whore-hound - he had been chasing skirts and had his string of sluts publicly displayed before he was elected. It was an indictment on his character and lack of integrity, but he wasn't "persecuted" for it.
And later, after found to have lied under oath during a trial regarding his sexual harassment of a state employee while governor of Arkansas, the Republicans brought impeachment charges against Clinton. For lying under oath and obstruction of justice. Do those charges ring a bell?
Those are serious charges, and should have been taken seriously by the Democrats. It was not "persecution" by any means, it was what any honorable person would have pursued, just as the Republicans forced Nixon out because they would have voted to impeach and remove him. Oh, please note that Nixon's "crimes" were no worse than Clinton's. It was just that the GOP showed itself more honorable than the Dems.
Last thing. Gingrich resigned when news of his affair came out. It's what honorable people do when caught out. But then, neither Clinton nor the Dems have had any honor for decades.

You look to have a touch OCD issue occurring there. evidently you're enthusiastic about hatred for Gingrich. Are you jealous? is this a political hack activity? Take a breath once in a lengthy time period and hear your self. If i'm an adulterer does that advise you won't be able to be a criminal? could Clinton no longer were prosecuted for his crimes? Is perfection a prerequisite for prosecutors, politicians, policemen? it may no longer damage to furnish the different guy the damage that you'll favor to have in case you've been no longer suitable.

Now let's get this straight. Do you remember why, exactly, Clinton was under oath? Wasn't to a carefully orchestrated smear campaign designed and carried out by the GOP? Yep, it was. It was a Linda Tripp folly. And, to be honest (something the GOP ignores) Clinton's folly.
But we all know it was designed to get Clinton. And it was about sex.
Newt, bless his little disgusting heart, was banging away and hollering for blood at the same time. Newt, Foley, Delay, Cunningham, Ney have all come and gone. And Clinton still gets a 60% approval rating because the American people can spot a set up and Monicagate was just that.

Name me one candidate who is perfect in character and sterling in honor and has earned our perfect trust and beyond fault in any thing, personal, private or business-related? Again, sexual matters between two consenting adults is a private affair. If they are married, it is an issue solely for the husband and wife to solve. Cameras and microphones should stay out of the bedrooms. Those are moral issues that each individual needs to confront. I can't cast judgment on Newt or Bill Clinton, or anyone else.

Republicans and Democrats are equally as hypocritical as eachother.
It is the classic good cop-bad cop routine.

Did Newt send cruise missiles in to Afghanistan to blow up an Aspirin factory to try and divert news media attention away from his BOLD FACE LIE " I didn't have sex with that woman, Monica Lewinski" and then lie about it under oath to a Federal judge?
