What do would be the best way to get rid of a human body- without any law agencies figuring it out... i've always though 'incineration' would be the best method.

Incineration is pretty good - especially if the body is cut up first to permit more rapid burning. Burning a body completely takes a considerable time, producing an incredible amount of heat and smoke (not to mention a rather distinctive "burnt flesh" smell). And even then teeth in particular may be left whole.

Another method often used is dissolving in acid but again teeth are often resistant to this.

A murder that took place locally to where I live about 15 years ago involved a man who killed his mother and sister. Their bodies were never found and he was convicted on other evidence. What he is believed to have done is dismembered the bodies and ground each part, including bones and teeth, into mincemeat using a lathe and then disposed of them by burying or perhaps dumping in a river or down the toilet. One tiny fleck of blood on the lathe is the only clue.

The answerer above says lime pit but actually lime pits have been the downfall of many murderers because frequently the lime reacts with the water in the body to form, in effect, concrete and actually PRESERVES the body rather than hastening its decay.

James,

I'm afraid you're about 50 years too late. Planning the 'perfect murder' nowadays entail having to outsmart criminologists who look for the most minute particles of crap we ALL leave behind.

You could dump that corpse in a vat of acid and think you've gotten rid of every last trace...and there will be traces.

The problem with 'grinding' up the corpse is twofold...one, the presence of human tissue/blood is detectable for a LONG time...two, if they somehow suspect the sausage and/or chicken meal, they only need a small, infinitesimally minute piece to replicate DNA. God help ya if they find brain tissue...then they KNOW the person cannot be alive.

I would suggest the method used in the movie Fargo. Get a really big chipper/shredder that they use when they dispose of whole trees. Set it up next to a secluded body of water and fire it up. It should make small enough pieces to be fish food. Then just run a bunch of wood through the machine afterward to remove any blood from the teeth of the machine. I think it actually worked in the movie but somebody witnessed the guy putting body parts into the chipper/shredder.

Chill the body until it is near frozen. Cut it up and then grind it in a meat grinderer that will grind the bones as well as the meat into a fine meal. Get some chickens and feed the results to the chickens.

Why are you planning to kill someone? I should say then there is no best way to get rid of a human body. The guilt will always be with you.

Hoffa-tize it.

Or, fresh poured cement foundation. Stick that sucker in there and smooth it back over. Then put up a 30 story building.
