Guilty...not yours though, I always try to answer my friend's questions even if they already have 32 answers before me.

When I don't answer it's usually that I recognize it's not worth my time to write the same answer that is already posted just for the sake of possibly getting points. If there's already a good answer that I agree with, I give it a thumbs up and look for another question that I can answer!

sometimes. Only because someone else has given the same answer that I would of. Most people on here dont pick a best answer anyways, so thats not why I dont answer those questions.

No; the questions I try not to answer are the ones I know will go to vote, because people don't read all the answers when they're voting most of the time.

I only answer when there are a small amount of replies mstly, with questions that have 20+ answers, it is more common people will only read the best replies and ignore the others, so I can't be bothered.

Nope... I answer if I have something to say (or hopefully, some way to help). Best answers are nice... but the points aren't the reason why. You have posted several that made me laugh and laugh and laugh... but I had nothing to add. Could have said 'thank-you', I guess. (You have a very nice turn of phrase by the way).

Usually I browse the answers, and if what I was going to say is already posted, then I refrain. Or else, if I find the question boring, I don't answer either.

I answer if i think i can be some help. Getting best answer isn't as important as the advice/answer you give. One way or other your helping someone out!!!!

it depends on if the answer is all the same. or if their are a lot of answers i usually wont answer because you figure that the person won't even read yours
