Did anyone know about stabilizer bar that has been installed in a car?

i'm doing the reserch about the usage of the stabilizer bar in car. i hope anyone can help me with the reserch. Is it safe to install the stabilizer bar in car? is the bar suitable for all type of car?

What should it stabalise?
A stabaliser in automotive terms normally refers to somthing that stabalises a trailer that is being towed (another linkage between car and trailer).

Almost all cars have stabilizer bars. They keep you from leaning too far in turns.
