You sound a lot like me. I did some company and promotional work a while ago and had to be in the same clothes!! It was an all day thing with Young Enterprise... ANYWAY!!! Here's my advice for make up, hair and the like::
- Foundation- keep it light. No foundation creams etc- only use a light dusting of powdered foundation.
- Use a shine control moisturiser too, like Garnier Synergie or something because it will help your face not to get shiny from all that running around!
- Apply a light smattering of blusher powder. Apply across the top of the cheekbones quite heavily, smudge outwards, and also dust a little all over your face for instant glow!
- Pencil eyeliner is a no-no if you're going to be running around. Instead, apply a light coloured eyeshadow all over the eyelid and then a darker shade at the outer edges. A little liquid eyeliner to extend the eyelash line is okay. Apply some mascara though to open up your eyes.
- Lip gloss. Carry it around with you too!! I think a nice lipgloss in either plain gloss or a pale and slightly colour look nice and neautral, especially if you're any type of uniform.
- A light little bit of shimmery powder or shimmery fairy dust will complete the look and have you standing out and looking fabulous all day ^_^
- Also, wear a nice anti-perspirant deodarant such as Sure active response as you'll be running around and want to feel fresh as well as look it!
-HAIR- if your hair will be in a normal ponytail, you can add a big flower bobble (SOOO chic!!!) or some cube hair ties or with round coloured baubles etc. These will really look funky and pretty and lively too. Also, grab your tongs/hot brush, and add a few curls to your ponytail once you've put it up. Add a nice clip to keep back any fringe and rememeber to leave some wispy bangs- thin pieces of hair- out just in front of the ears and as a fringe if you don't already have one ^_^
Don't crimp though or go overboard on the twists!
notes: Avoid dramatic or dark make up. Blue or red is also bad. Keep to green, pink, white, lilac, and golden colours for eyeshadow and pale colours or clear for lips. Blush is not orange coloured- make sure it's pinky red instead of bronze for younger people (i.e. teen).
You don't need brands to look awesome! I find Wilkos/Wilkinsons (in UK) do everything you'll ever need, so forget Boots and designer brands!! In US I think everything you need really can be found at Walmart or a bargain bin in Sephora ^_^ You can even get some decent cheap makeup at markets- many in rare colours or discontinued colours.
Good luck angel- contact me if you need anything else ^_^ missytetra@yahoo.co.uk . Have a fun day!!

Natural looking and the fact that you are 13 -
OK try a tinted moisturiser if you even want any type of foundation. Its very light and very natural and will even out your skin tone.
Use a pink blush to give you a pretty and natural heavy look. It will make you look nice and bright. Not a heavy pink and not a light pink. Something in between.
Use white eyeliner or eye-shadow to accentuate your eyes. It will make you look bright and alert even if you aren't. It is a great look for the day-time a really fresh look that will make your eyes look bigger.
Then go for a tiny bit of mascara and some good lip gloss - pink or natural shades are best, or tinted or flavoured lip balms that you can carry around with you. They are great if you are running around because you'll probably get dry lips.
As for which brand to you to use.... as you said you are 13....try Maybelline, they are quite affordable and simply to use!

1. Keep it natural with just concealer on the dark and very red spots (but keep the other spots clear of it, or you'll have it melting off your face in no time). Or, if you don't need concealer, try a mattifying light face powder to even out skin tone, and keep the shine away (as you will probably be sweating)
2. Wear a waterproof mascara on your upper eyelashes, and some light brown eyeliner on your upper eyelid and that's it.
3. Wear lip balm. :) Or even a medium-dark rose pink lipgloss to bring out your lips.
If you want to go a BIT further, then wear a bit of blush, but that's unnecessary.

Good luck with the event!
Start with concealer only on the areas that you think need it. Brush some light powder all over your face to set your concealer. Use light brown eye liner to define your eyes. Use some peachy bronzer on your cheeks. Use glossy lip balm on your lips. You can use mascara if you want more attention to the eyes. And, voila, a natural look that will last for hours.

Mascara maybe some creamy eyeshadow.. I dont know what color your eyes are......
I was going to also suggest eyeliner but it can sometimes run and give you raccoon eyes unless you have a good brand so I would stick to shadow and mascara.
