What is the name of the rod that holds passenger tire vertical? Can it be Fixed or Replaced,Expensive????Thanks

Hmm,how about a inner or outer tie rod end.Ball joints keep the wheel vertical,tie rods are horizontal movement.

holds the wheel vertical? does it have a spring wrapped around it? if so, it's the strut. yes, it can be changed, cost of a new one, about $65 + install.
