Do watching the dramas of families and individuals on television, make you feel that you and your family are living a really boring life

Hey Noaveragejoe, what part of fun did you not understand. A lot of us do know how to separate reality from fiction, but that does not mean we cannot have some fun doing so. Geez man get a sense of humour.

It's just really interesting and good entertainment. Yeah we live a some what boring life but that's how we chose to live it, nothing wrong it. I guess if we were in the spot light and had all the money that these families did it might be a little different. I am greatful am blessed for the family I have and enjoy watching these celebrities entertain us each week.

Watching the inanity of it makes me feel like I have a boring life, only in the sense that I am actually watching the drivel

No.
Two reasons:
1. I don't watch TV very much.
2. I find my life a bit too dramatic at times, more so than "dramatized" shows are.
Truth is stranger than fiction... plus you can't "mute" or "turn off" life. (And if you do, you can't reverse the decision.)

That's what I always thought when I was growing up - then I look back and see how lucky I was to grow up in a family where Mom and Dad never fought and us kids usually got along great.

Good God no. I can't stand those reality shows, those people are all pathetic and sad. The only reason they pull half the **** they do is so they can be on TV. They are complete losers.

Not at all all soaps have basically the same story line the same predictability. If anything i find the whole soap thing boring
