It is the name of the error condition and its 8-digit number that help you determine the actual error.
Most are hardware issues.

Examine the “System” and “Application” logs in Event Viewer for other recent errors that might give further clues.

To do this, launch EventVwr.msc from a Run box; or open “Administrative Tools” in the Control Panel then launch Event Viewer.

It sounds like a corrupt system file. Try going to a command prompt and typing in:

sfc /scannow

Let it run. It will reboot eventually. This could take care of your problem.

I the RAM chips seated properly?
Clear out your Page File?
How much room is set for you Page File?
The RAM you have might be caput!
Also try to reinstall your video card!
By chance, do you have a AMD Athlon 64 CPU and SATA hard drive ...they conflict sometimes and cause this problem!
Last ditch...go to start/run/msconfig...services tab..check hide all ms services and uncheck them one by one and restart...see if one of the apps you have is starting a service that conflicts!
