Why can't people resist nicking a chip when someone has been to the chippy?

I hate it when people touch my food! and i don't usually do it to other people.
but nice ,hot ,golden brown ,salty chips (Fry's here) screaming eat me! eat me! sprinkle vinegar on me and eat me! how do you expect me to resist?
