The literature/hollywood version of either, no. However there are people who drink blood and call themselves vampires. They aren't especially long-lived, nor have to hide from sunlight.

As for wolf men, I think I've seen stories of people with genetic disorders that caused excessive hair growth...but I don't believe there to be people who transform into wolves or wolf-like creatures.

No, if it were possible, I don't believe I'd care to be either one. I enjoy the sun/daylight too much and hate rare meat so a vampire is out...and I've got enough to worry about shaving now so being a werewolf would be WAY too much of a drag (and there's the rare meat issue again).

Germany and France have a long story of cases of Werewolves, such as Jean Grenier, in the 17th century, who was arrested and spend the rest of his life in prison.
He had a psychological condition called lycanthropia, which makes the sufferer believe he is changing into a wolf.
Vampires appear throughout history, Cain, Dracula...
The last vampire hunter was arrested in London in 1956.
He was a polish priest who had followed a Romanian family to England, and slaughtered them.

During my undergraduate degree - i did a lot of research on Offender profiling - especially in the case of serial murderers.

An interesting idea put froward is that history shows that there were serial killer for many years - its only post war that we understood the phenomena as serial murder. It suggests that all the tales of mutilation and murder by vampires and werewolves were actually cases or serial killer operating. Its just that people could not believe that man could do this to man and so attacks must have been from savage beasts or half beasts etc!!!

I don't believe in them, but I would love it if they did exist. In small numbers, that is. Vampires are my favourite among monstrous people. And it's werewolf not wolfman.
