I've made a petition to make Sundance and Sanjaya have a live, one on one, competition so that the the audiences of America can decide between the two who they really want to be in the top 12. Everyone seems dissapointed that Sanjaya made Top 12 and Sundance didn't and since American Idol is a competition where the audience gets to decide than how did that happen? and why don't do this?

Well at least Chris Daughtry made top 4. Sundance didn't even make it to top 12 so people are gonna forget him. Plus, Chris Daughtry has an album out right now so you shouldn't be complaining.

to me it's a good 'cause, but it will not happen unless like every person in america signs that lol that's a lot of signatures. Kookie the only reason that you could like sanjaya better than Sundance Head is if you ABSOLUTELY HATE blues because to me Sundance is Awesome, but no thanks to sanjaya and the many people who voted for him one very great singer is off the show. Last night's episode was just screwed, both Sabrina and Sundance were beaten by sanjaya and haley. BTW I'm mostly venting here 'cause I'm mad.

Sanjaya made it based on demographics. He sure can't sing. They've let go some really good singers (Sundance and Sabrina) and kept bad ones, Sanjaya and Hayley....just my opinion.
I don't think a petition will work - it's up to the people to vote. If they don't, then things like this happen. Just like Chris Daughtry who should have won last year...I was in tears when he was voted off. But he has a #1 album out and is doing better than Taylor or Katharine.

How does America know exactly how many votes who got?
Did Sanjaya really get more votes than Sundance? Nobody really knows for sure.
It's a scam to keep people watching to see when the kid will get the boot. I felt this way last year when that 15 year old (I dont recall his name) but he reminded me and a lot of others of "Chicken Little"
I think the votes are counted before they are cast.........

Dude, its no like he's gonna win the whole thing. And even if he did- where's Taylor Hicks? You gotta be the top 2 to have a chance at anything. Well other than Chris Daughtry, but he's from Reidsville so you can only expect that kinda outcome from people from NC.

I totally agree that Sundance should have beaten Sanjaya but, I don't think your petition will work.

That isnt gonna happen. Have you watched past episodes. All of you all are acting as if this is the first time American Idol has pulled a publicity stunt like this. That is why I am just an off and on fan of the show. I dont like scams and that is all AI is one big scam

a million) I agree he did badly on the perfect couple of songs. i'm posting this before he sings on 2/27/07, so i do not understand how he does this evening.....yet he did properly in his first audition. i'm suprised he's made it this some distance. 2) Um.....ok. 3) See determination 2. it is a making a music competition, no longer a beauty contest. 4) A hippie call. i became cursed with a terrible call too, so do not decide human beings on the call their father and mom gave them.

why do you want Sundance back?.... he is horrible.... I really don't know what people see in him... he hasn't had a good performance yet....
Sanjaya had zero personality when he sang but at least he had a nice sounding voice.....

Obviously "everyone" isn't disappointed with the results. The results are based on how many people voted for each contestant.
Sundance had a great first ausition, but frankly he has been very unimpressive since then.
