If you've been reading my answers these past few weeks you will see that I've been a major supporter of the Phillies. I think the Phillies will win the NL East by at least 10 games over the Mets. I don't see anyone out gunning them offensively. They are capable of scoring 900 runs this year and are my pick to win the pennant. With the exception of any unforeseen injuries they should meet the Yankees in the world series.

the Phillies have probably the best pitching in the NL and they are young. They also have the best right side of any infield in the league. The only problems I see with the Phillies is catching third, and the middle relief. I think they will win the East and depending on who they play my make it to the the Series. I think that playing an experience team in the playoff could hurt the young Phillies

They should win. Their starting pitching is too good and too deep. The only possible weakness is in the pen. Can Gordons 39 year old arm hold up for another season? Can Fabio Castro and Madson perform well enough to back up Geary in the 'pen? If they can, nothing but injuries can keep the Phils from winning the East in '07!

They are in a tough division. They have the talent to compete for the NL east and they are my prediction. But the Mets are much improved and watch out for those Nationals. LOL

They do have a chance. I, personal, hope they don't since I'm a Braves fan. But, they have a real good chance with that line-up and a somewhat solid pitching staff. Plus, the stupid Mets will be in it as well. Hopefully, the Braves and Phills will take care of the Mets early and often this year.

I really Like Utley and Howard. The rest of the position players can make a run at it but......
Pitching wins Championships and you're pitching is suspect.

They have sort of an ofensive lineup to compete, but remember that the Mets are a fewer steps ahead, this is the team to beat
