you have to be very firm with this guy. Tell him that there is no way that you will ever be anything other than friends. He will be upset and may decide to finish the friendship once he realises this but it will be for the best. Only see him when in a group and not on your own. Good luck

Your situation is normal. Sometimes when friends of the opposite sex spend time together feelings grow into something more than just friends. There is nothing that you can do about it. You can try talking to this person, but you will not be able to change his/her feelings. Dont stop the friendship though. Just know its normal and set boundaries for yourself.

You cannot change someone’ feelings, but you need to be honest about yours. If telling him that you want to be ‘just friends’ is not working, then you will have to take other steps. It is not a good thing to lie to him and tell him that you have someone else. It is also not a good thing to drag other friends into it. Your best choice is to be up front with him. If he continues to show his affections, tell him that the two of you are going to have to spend less time together. You need to tell him that you do not want to see him hurt by your platonic only feelings for him. Do not try to fix him up with someone else. This could only lead to hurting both him and the other girl. If nothing works, then tell him that you simply need to break of your association all together. Tell him that you do not want to see him get hurt, and you cannot continue to see him as just a friend when he obviously wants more. You need to let him know that you do not want to cause either of you to get hurt. It is going to be a difficult thing no matter what route that you choose, but you need to take steps now before things get worse.

I think you have to remind him of that you only want to be friends and just pull back . How about going to the movies with another male friend and let him know . Hey Dave I am going to movie with John tonight and we are going to see Paradise Island , Its a hot movie . And after we are going to dinner with friends . I think by then he should get the message . Or just be right up front to him and tell him don't get attached to me I just want to be friends . As well may be should stop talking to him

Dont make any effort to look good when he's around.
Morning after a spray tan that's too dark and a few bottles of red wine should do the trick. I did that not that long ago, literally looked like an extra from Dawn of the Dead.

you cant stop someone from feelinf a certain way....only thing you can do to help him get over you is stop hanging out with him so much....or show that you haev interest in another guy. It might hurt him a little but its the only way unless he just gets over you.....doesnt sound like thats gonna happen though.

Keep telling him that you only want to be friends so that he knows that it won't be anything more. Maybe you could spend less time with him, and make sure your not leading him on with body language and asking for a lot of his time.

I once felt for a girl and one day went round to her house with some friends for a party, I went to use the toilet to find the bowl was extremelly stained. For some reason I never fancied her again.

let him beome attached, whatev. doesn't mean you have to stop being friends with him. just make sure that it's clear to him that you are only interested in friendship and that's how it's gonna be. and i mean can you really blame the guy? he must have good taste!
