No Lois...

Why keep stirring up trouble. Your party has balanced out the branches of government. If the Democratic leadership would let go of this discredit the President mentality then mayboe those in Washington could make some real headway on bi-partisan agenda's. That is what the American public wants. That is what the election in November told us. While 51% of Americans supported a change, 49% are still supportive of the Republican leadership. Hardly a reason to call for the impeachment of our President which will just tear our country apart even more.

Enough is enough. It is time to work on the future and not dwell on the past.

Okay, let's consider this from a couple of different angles.

No evidence - There has been no evidence presented to support any articles of impeachment. Without evidence an impeachment cannot be brought because it would be seen as a purely partisan revenge move and would absolutely destroy the Democrats in the next election. The vast majority of people do not support an impeachment and would not take kindly to the tactic used for purely political reasons.

Waste of time - Democrats do not have a 2/3 majority in the Senate and therefore impeachment will not succeed. The majority of Republicans are not going to vote to impeach unless someone actually finds an unquestionable smoking gun. Therefore it becomes just an incredible waste of taxpayer time and money.

I know many Democrats just love to dream about this possibility, but the honest truth is that it is not going to happen. The Democrats are not going to take a chance on damaging voter confidence in the upcoming election without an ironclad case. George Bush will finish his tenure as President. The Democrats now control both Houses it is time to get on with the business of government and let this talk die the death it deserves once and for all.

This is more transferrance (psych term) and revenge for a scoundrel who never should have been elected in the first place.
But the deal went down anyway despite Clinton's track record as a "wencher", master of corruption with Small Business loans, etc.
The fact remains that there were WMDs, there WAS considerable reason for the Iraq War despite all the Alzheimer's exhibited by prominent Democrats...several Democrats expressed alarm that Hussein was getting the NUKES and had to be stopped, and this was 1998.1999.
Later 50 Russian MIGs fighter/bombers were found in the desert by the British and many other WMDs such as gas with which Hussein had murdered thousands of Kurds.
Success has been played down by the Media...the Kurds have Kurdistan which is capitalist and BOOMING and not from bombs.
Yet through it all, Bush is blamed for everything. The Democrats have lied on him and chosen the course of REVENGE. Democrats wil be denied the "ULTIMATE GLOAT" of impeachment. There is no blue dress...there is no wenching. Many Democrats have shamelessly sided with Hussein, the Butcher of Baghdad, having attended his parties in Iraq, called the US soldiers Nazis, and other acts formerly known as treason and sedition and aiding the enemy. They want to close Guatanamo and release all the scheming and guilty enemy there who have been doing outrageous things to the honorable men who guard them. Democrats should have to stand guard in Guantanamo, be cursed, spat upon, assaulted daily, and accused of toileting with the Koran so they would see what a crew they defend.

A few of reasons I say no.

1) Bush goes, Cheney is President

2) By the time the impeachment articles get through congress, the investigations are completed, he will already be out of office.

3) It will divert people and congress from the critical tasks at hand.

I'm no fan of this administration, but I don't think at this time, it serves any useful purpose. History, in the short and long term, will make it's own judgement on this administration, and I don't think it will be favorable.

Only Democrats get impeach (2/2); it wont happen no matter how many times people ask for it.

I would like to see it done, but only because of the ruin he has brought to true conservatism and the once great ideals of the Republican party. He hasnt done anything proveable to warrant impeachment though.

NO.

I really, really fear for my country when we are facing threats and all people do in reaction is say "Bush did it" and "it's all a lie."

If enough people put their heads in the sand, then we can kiss it all goodbye.

I thank our brave and selfless troops for all they do, but I really wonder if many of us are worthy of their sacrifice.

The constant, vicious attacks against Bush, for trying to defend the country, leave me speechless.

I'm not talking about legitimate criticism. I'm talking about the "Bush did 9/11" "Bush lied" "Bush is a Nazi" "Iraq is about oil" BS.

If I were Bush, I'd be tempted to pull all the troops from Iraq, stop all the antiterrorist programs that the liberals hate so much, sit back and just be an impotent figurehead watching the polls (like Clinton was) and let whatever is going to happen, happen.

Durbin calls our troops Nazis, and the voters reward that by putting the Democrats in power? Let the country have what it voted for.

If there are enough people who think Bush is the problem (and not what Bush is trying to fight), then maybe the country is not worth saving anymore.

I'm disgusted.

Bush?
Maybe for the horendous prescription drug bill. For the war NO I think it is still clear that the CIA was fault for that. It was especially nice of Joe Wilson to set himself up as the sole source of US intelligence. As for post war planning. There is nothing we could have done to overcome the US media's smear campaign. So the post war reconstruction was doomed from the start.

impeached for what? standing up for America's freedom? Kicking the terrorist's *** in their own country instead of them blowing up more people over here? Dumb question.
