I was told the other day that my brother and his girlfriend was moving out of my dad's and moving to a town that's 45 min away, once they get their tax check. Which is fine, I understand. But here is what I don't understand...neither one of them have a job. No job...and they are gonna rent an apartment. That tax check isn't going to last very long. I feel that he is being really stupid. But I don't dare say anything to him. He is one of those that don't want your help or opinion but it's ok for him to do it. But I just don't see this working for him. This is almost a repeat of when he married his first wife. He will be 30 this year and she is 22. I think that he is being scammed again. I could go on and on about this. I think that this whole situation is completly stupid. What would you think if it was your brother......stupid or what?

Sounds like he is not thinking with his head. He will learn his lesson the hard way and your father will have to tell him to grow up and he cant move back in.

He is an adult yeah right, but he must stop thinking like a child. I think he is just happy that he can leave on his apartment, it like he is saying "poo oh I have waited for this day to be independent" not realizing he don't have the money the job how is is going to rent that apartment. My opinion ja right he is stupid. Tell him to come back home dint he learn the lesson from the first wife.

Yes, he does sound like a moron. He probably thinks that tax check will last forever, but he will soon find out that when you spend money then you do not have it any more. Then he will come crawling back to daddy's house to wait for the next tax check, when he can do the moving out thing all over again.

I wouldn't say anything! I would however run his head through a few walls though! He is jumping into things way too quick.
Without a job it won't last very long. He might as well start dividing what he owns now!

They are scamming each other. Both grown adults but yet to hit pubity and take responsibility seriously. Give them a few months, she will be pregnant and the both of them will be lining up for food stamps

Well yes he is being stupid but some people have to make the same mistakes over and over before they learn. Your brother is one of those people.

I'm sure you can find other things to be concerned with. Like your own problems and stay out of your brothers. I don't think you are qualified to give advice or be concerned with anybody else unless you have a perfect life yourself

Let him do it. He will just have to learn the hard way. If he does not want to listen to the people loves than that is on him. And to answer your question I do not think he is stupid he just has to learn, and there is no better way than for him to be on his own.

Yes i do think that he is stupid but it is not my place or yours to say anything about what he is doing. he is a big boy now so let him make his own decisions but what you can do is be there to help him when he needs it and it sounds like that won't be to far away.
