When can testing be performed?
Testing can be performed before the child is born through a process called Amniocentesis or CVS
Testing can be performed at delivery
There are no age restrictions for testing children or adults
How do I get my results?
Results are sent out 5-7 business days from receipt of the samples. They are in a documented report which clearly tells you if a biological relationship exists or not.
A Standard Paternity Test Case costs from as little as £149.

Yes, but good luck getting a doctor to perform the test without a medical reason or court order. Prenatal paternity tests are done by inserting a long needle, guided by ultrasound, into the womb and extracting amniotic fluid. It is invasive and risky. This procedure is usually only recommended when there are concerns about the baby's development.

Yes, they can be done using amniotic fluid, but the procedure includes a risk of miscarriage so you're better off waiting until after the birth.

Yes, with amneosentesis, but a doctor will not preform that kind of a procedure unless it is medically nessesary because there is the risk of miscarraige. It will just have to wait until the baby is born. I'm sorry for your friend.

Yes there are ways (amneocentisis), but most Dr's wont do them unless medically necessary, due to the risks to the baby. It can be a dangerous procedure that Dr's don't like to do unless they absolutly have to.

Only with an amniocentesis, and there is a risk of miscarriage so most people don't do that.
