It depends what you are looking for - they do all offer lots of things. Why not join all of them? That way you get to reap all the benefits! It might be a bit time consuming, so perhaps just join the 5 nearest to limit it.
Or, you could 'follow your heart'.
Oh and my religion is best :p ;)

Try Zoroastrianism. It's a very ancient religion and most of the monotheistivc religions are at least partly based upon it. Plus one of its major beliefs is that a follower has to respect the beliefs of other people - so no crusades or jihads allowed. And it's been around for thousands of years (most followers live in India these days but 1500 years ago half the near East followed this faith!
Zoroastrianism follows the teachings of the prophet Zarathustra which is a pretty cool name. Go on - chose the only religion that begins with Z that is not just in Star Trek.

you said in you question that all religions offer guarenteed access to paradise, but thats not true. just because you are involved in a "religion" does not mean you will go to Heaven. The Bible says in the the book of Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." It goes on to say that the only way to be justified is through faith in Jesus Christ, God's son, who died to save sinners and rose again three days later. i would suggest that you go and buy a bible. i think that the New King James Translation is the easiest to understand ( there are not differant versions. its just that lots of people translated the Bible from the Greek or Hebrew langegue so there are many translations). a baptist or congragationalist church would probobly be the best.

This is a difficult question to answer because it involves discussing some principles that the person you are witnessing to may or may not agree with. For example, does he or she agree with you that truth is knowable, that God would attempt to communicate with His people, or that only one religion may be right? Usually, I start by acknowledging the difficulty of coming to an easy answer. However, I tell them that I do have an answer; I am sure it is the right one, because it is an answer based on evidence. What kind of evidence? Prophecy and its fulfillment Jesus and His miracles, the resurrection of Christ, etc. Then I ask that person if he or she knows of these things happening in other religions.(1) The answer is invariably, "No." Then I point out that they have only happened

Try becoming Gnostic Christians. This religion is very gentle & loving (no talk of hell or punishment or sin) & has really helped me. It is practical & fits modern day life. Sylvia Browne is the founder, she lives in California. She has written many books on the subject of God, the other side (heaven) & our purposes here on earth. I have read most of them & once met Sylvia in Pittsburg at one of her lectures when I was visiting the US. Remember though that what ever path in life you choose there is heaven waiting for all of us who seek it. God doesn't play favourites or only let a few select religions enter. God loves us all equally.

Dont be in a rush to choose. Go with what feels right to you, not what people say is right.
Failing that go for a really popular one, make a bunch of fantatical friends and all commit suicide when the mother ship, (That looks an awful lot like the moon), comes to get ya!
You know whichever moves you most.

Follow your heart anything other than that is being a hypocrite and worse than no religion at all .I don`t belong to any religion but i believe in God and the Bibles message .And try to live my life in a way that i think is decent and good by my own principles as i believe we can all find our own spirituality inside us and even the Bible says we don`t need a building to worship God as he can be found in every stone on the ground and not to follow the preaching of men
So mate its down to what feels right to you and for you
good luck in finding what you need x : )

I think you've answered your own question - you know in your heart that all religions are just ways of controlling peoples' minds by making them 'fear' the consequencies of not following their silly rules. If you feel the need to enrich your life try investigating Buddhism which is not a religion in the traditional sense but more of a philosophical way of life.

Lol "joining a religion this summer". God's Son Jesus came to die for our sins. Dont listen to people who say "Islam is a religion of peace" which maybe it is but, Muhammed was a false prophet. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. No one gets to the father except through him. On judgement day, we will all stand before god and he will judge our hearts. Those who have trusted, believed, and had faith in Jesus, their sins will have been forgiven , making them pure in God's eyes. Those who have not excepted Jesus as their lord and saviour, their is no way to get to heaven. It says in Romans 10:9-10
For if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that god raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved.
Christianity is not just going to church on Sunday. It is completely changing your lifestyle and turning from your sinful ways and follow God's 10 Commandments and having Faith in Jesus Christ.
