What, biologically speaking, is a memory?

It can probably be described as a discrete network of neurons. I think the components of a memory are stored in seperate parts of the brain and can be brought back together through thinking which is what creates the connections that make up the network.

Brain storage....

An area of your brain stores up things you've heard and seen...those are your memories.
