It's hard to choose colors for someone else. The easiest way to select a color combination is to go to a fabric store and find some fabric with color combinations you really love. Forget about the pattern, just look for a color combination that you love. Buy a yard of that fabric. On the edge of the fabric you will see a row of dots. This is a color chart of all the colors used in this fabric print. All of these colors go together and you can't go wrong if you choose any of the colors from this combo. From there you can choose the co-ordinating colors that appeal to you.

bedroom hunter green and white
i paintedd my ceiling huntergreen and the carpet to match the paint then i painted the walls white and the bedding was green and a white ceiling fan
dining room cherry wood look with white or off white
living room well i can't suggest any thing

Go to lowes.com & use the free virtual painter. You can try out hundreds of colors in their sample rooms. It's great. hgtv.com has great ideas too.

It depends on your choice, whether you like light colours or dark one. If you like light colours then for your bed room,light brown and yellowish colours would be best options and in case if you like dark onesthen you may choose mehroon and royal creamish colour.

it all depends on your personal taste. i prefer earth tones for painted walls and like to accent with color in fabrics such as bedspreads, pillows, sofa, chair, etc.
