I'm talking about a stand alone DVD player, that you connect to a TV.
NOT a computer DVD Player.

nope,

use NERO and convert to mpg

thinking more on it,, most players use .VOB files for videos (complete with menu functions)
and I think NERO will go from avi to vob including your "menu"
setup.

yes they are very common these days in many electronic outlets. look on the box/description for 'DIVX codec' hope that helps
