WATER, drink water, PLEASE. I workout every Monday, Wednesday and Friday,I do cardio for 30 minutes on Tuesdays and Thursdays and Saturdays, BEFORE I eat . I only drink water during my workout and only enough to wet my dry mouth basically.I try to get at least 8 glasses of water THROUGHOUT the day) Any energy drink will contain either sugar or caffeine or both, why would would you want the drink to provide energy, that what bodyfat is for. Bodyfat is stored energy, if you use the sugar in the drink your bodyfat stays right where it is (on your abs). Look at the labels Powerade contains like 250 calories, thats a lot for just a drink, water contains 0 calories. An average workout for 30 minutes only burns about 300 calories or less, drinking an energy drink after that pretty much negates all the effort. Water is a life giving substance, please lay off the sugar, ESPECIALLY after a workout, I turn to oatmeal because it is digested slowly and provides energy over an extended period of time and it contains proteins and other nutrients to feed and repair your muscles after a workout. An energy drink will cause your body to "crash" after a short while and you will feel tired.
Dont consume anymore sodium, contrary to what some people say, sodium is in pretty much everything we eat, we dont need any more its makes you retain water, water is heavy, its weighs you down and makes you look pudgey. WATER drink water with no salt in it, your not gonna lose that much salt in a workout. Maybe if you were working out outside in the blazing sun for an hour I would recommend salt in your water but I dont think this is the case.WATER.

I'm frustrated at the fact that so many people are so willing to take pills or recommend them to mess up their bodies just to drop some pounds, what happens when you stop taking the pills? You start to gain weight. Are you going pay for these pills forever? These pills may have a higher cost than you may think. Do it naturally, I am and im 30% of the way to my goal in 37 days. Going from 230lbs to 160 lbs is alot easier than I thought but It takes perseverance not drugs. Anyone who suggest drugs or pills or some kind of drink is probably getting a commission for getting someone to sign up for their "magic potion".

If you are trying to loose weight, you better not drink anything that give you any sugar or energy like Red Bull or soft drinks. The best is isotonic drinks. Isotonic drinks are often preferred to water by athletes because they contain a small amount of carbohydrate (less than 8%) and sodium. This carbohydrate content provides a small amount of extra energy – always helpful on a long run – but it’s the sodium that’s crucial.

Water is best. Most energy drinks have salt or some similar sodium concentrate. In most societies, and particularly the American diet, salt is in excess so you don't really need to drink salty fluids after a one or two hour workout. If you run a marathon, maybe you will need the sodium but you should counter it with high-potassium foods like avocados, mushrooms and bananas.

Some energy drinks have caffeine. That's just another drug like nicotine and is best avoided in all circumstances. Sorry, Starbucks addicts. It's the painful truth.

Why would you want an energy drink after you workout???? I think you want one before, and I myself like sugar free Red Bull. Maybe you might want a protein drink after but not an energy one.

Rashid, what the hell is the point on your existence? both way, potential beverages usually comprise a tonne of sugar, fantastically the more good value no variety potential beverages. i imagine 1 million an afternoon is rather a lot tolerable, yet even then you definately're eating truly some sugar, in extra of what you are able to be. in case you exercising commonly this should not be a issue, in case you do not, only shrink again a touch, all of it helps.
