Try to drink pure citrus fruit juice after dinner for 3-5 days. Or, if you can stand the taste of TOMATO SAUCE, drink tomato sauce instead of pure citrus fruit juice for 3-5 days after dinner.
Try it. Take care and GOD BLESS US ALL.

There are so many possibilities, I think you'll need a Dr. to sort it out. It very well may be allergies, even if you've never had any problems before. They can develop at any time. Depending on the amount, color, consistency, etc. of your phlegm, it could very well be a mild, long lasting infection. The feeling of something stuck in your throat is likely inflammation from either the irritation of the phlegm and coughing or infection. Two weeks is a long time to put up with that! I'd recommend you see a doctor, try some antihistamines in the meantime (Benadryl, Claritin, etc. although Claritin doesn't have an immediate effect), make sure you take in plenty of liquids (but milk tends to thicken the mucus, which just adds to the misery), and try to see if anything makes you feel better of worse. If it is allergies, changing locations may help (feel better at work, or indoors, or away from any particular environment). But good luck, I know that has to be frustrating and tiresome!

It sounds like allergies. Depending on where you live .. in some areas the trees are budding and pollin is in the area. You can get the pollin information from your local weather site. If it gets really irritating, a little Benadryl will help. Apprently your sinuses are draining down the back of your throat and causing this .. well, it's what it sounds like.

Could be related to allergies but I would recommend checking with your dr to be on the safe side.
