I think both are equally important to tell you the truth. In this day and age, where everyone is always in a hurry, always worried about themselves and seem to forget that theres a zillion other people who cross their paths everyday....
For instance, like when you're walking down the grocery store aisle and you come to the end, start to turn the corner and run into someone coming the opposite direction...I always say *Oh I'm sorry* or *excuse me* or something....and 8 out of 10 times....all I get in return is a snarl out of the other person and I just hate that. They ran into me too!!!!
A little common courteousy is always nice. :)

I say no concerns everytime someone thanks me. Or in the journey that they are too some distance away I supply a wave or only renowned that I heard them, and that it wasn't a issue. Ditto each and anytime I say thankyou to human beings they renowned it with both a wave or a no concerns. yet oh gosh, i'm turning out to be up contained in the age of unconsiderate rude kids.

Both are equally important. If someone goes ot of their way to do something or me they deserve a 'Thank You'. Even something as simple as stepping aside to clear a doorway. 'You're Welcome' is the appropriate response. It makes me more willing to keep being nice. If everybody made a little effort to be more polite, the world would be a much better place.

Thank you for asking.... I love to tell people thank you AND your welcome. I love to know that no matter what, I appreciate everything - with total sincerity. I like to always let people know how important they are and anything that they may have done or said is really special.
Thanks again! Have a great day, ok?!!!

Thank you. And yes, I have reserved the thank you if someone didn't deserve it. Unfortunately I just cannot lie, so I can't even pretend to thank them. But I often look for something to thank them for.

I think "Thank You" is more important because it shows you appreciate what that person did to you. If you did not say that, the person may be offended more than just saying "You're Welcome" because people don't get offended if the one they helped didn't say "You're Welcome."

I like to hear people say 'Thank you'. Then I can say "You're Welcome" and mean it.

Neither, I don't want you to do anything for me and I don't want to do something for you later.
