yep. absolutely. its funny u ask this question because recently i have begun uni and i have this assignment with this group, but the problem is the other members of the group dont give a damn whether we fail or not, which has made me extremely anxious and worried and caused a lot of uneccessary stress. anyways, i now am losing weight (which is heaps bad because im already skinny) and i have headaches, all because of stupid uni!!!! hahaha, not a good start, but anyways, in answer to ur question, it can definitely make huge changes over time, im already seeing changes, and its only been two weeks!!!
i hope that u dont get stressed like me thou :-)
xoxo

oh yes, stress cozes a lot of changes in metabolism and cozes release of hormones thats will coz a lot of changes in ur body (eg. decreased inmmunity, decreased sex hormones, high blood pressure, increased gastric acid production leading to ulcers) now if stress persists for a long time these changes maybe becum permanent that will lead to complex problems. Like being prone to infection and not being able to heal wounds. So breathe, start sudying from day one, that is what i am trying to do as we speak, and this is a break, from the stressing school work.

Stress, whether good or bad, had a negative effect on virtually every system in the body.
If you are concerned about stress learn stress reducing techniques. Yoga, exercise, meditation, journaling, massage, etc are all excellent means. Also, changing your thinking changes what your body perceives as stress. It is not so much about what happens in your life as it is how you CHOOSE to react.
