I agree with Vinz, use Ripit4Me with FixVTS along with dvd shrink. A lot of the new dvds are copy protected and the copy protection keeps changing. Ripit4me cracks the copy protection and is updated everytime a new protection comes out.

you can try dvd shrink. try a web search for it and you can try through u torrent. i have used these so to copy dvds and were free.
