You don't have any control over anyone else,
You can only control yourself.

From what you stated I could understand that you like the guy and the bet you made with your best friend is only to increase your determination in getting him. Ok just be attentive and look straight into his eyes while you are talking with him. Try to sound your desire towards him and see the best opportunity and tell him that you love him yes you must tell him otherwise he will not know it after that nature will take care all the best.

have you seen ., how to lose a guy in 10 days , i would suggest you have a look at it , and additionally as the movie was , what happens if you really do fall for the guy , or him for you , are you then going to rip his heart out.. ? dont do love for money..do it for love.. cos it ends up like this .. complicated

Play hard to get and ignore him. Start dating others and let him know he's going to lose you if he doesn't step it up and make the moves. That's how my wife got me to get serious about her.
