I've always had a problem with asking a guy out... but thinking it over -what's the worst that could happen? He'll no and then what? You'll move along! (Not a problem unless he's a friend and the question may alter your relationship.) I suggest you ask him out to something very low key and comfortable like a coffee/ice cream, a walk, something minor and irresistible to do with a beautiful girl such as you!

get into a pleasant conversation with him.
Then slowly go to the point where you ask him out etc.
"hey how about a movie this weekend" or "oh have you seen that move "insert movie here!!" wanna see it this weekend?"
or " mind having lunch or dinner with me this week?"
& maybe "are you free this weekend?"
etc.
