I think that show has gone down hill now. And what happened to the big stage??? All Randy can say is "that was pitchy" and Paula is just so nice about everything and I just adore Simon 'cause he's always so honest. What do u guys think?

They should be doing the big stage with the 12 contestants for next week. This season of AI just really sucks with the guys! Randy is right when they're pitchy because I cringe each time I hear the tone off key!! Paula is always on something so I don't value her opinion and Simon is usually on the mark for me when he says what he thinks. I think the winner will most likely be a woman. I'm rooting for Melinda Doolittle.

Randy is just trying to match Simon this season because he's usually been too soft on contestants in the past.Paula never was a great singer so can't really criticise anybody. We always agree with Simon's views.
Ryan is biased towards the contestants,he doesn't do them any favours by building them up & lying to them after a bad performance, they'll never learn anything.
I think it's a 2 horse race this year anyway-Lakesha and Dolittle are totally blowing away any other competition.

The big stage comes on towards the top 12 contestants. Everyone likes simon, cause he's honest - even though they may not like the comments, his weighs the most to them when they need the feedback.

I love simon also! The others are too worried about everyone criticizing them for criticizing the contestants. I definitely think that this seasons contestants dont even rate to last seasons, except for maybe one or two of the girls. But it seems that it isnt about the singing this time around. I mean why the !@#$ was Sundance voted out instead of the young cute kid? It wasnt based on the singing thats for sure! Im glad Antonela was voted out though.( I seen the pictures, and they are very nasty.) Not Idol material if you ask me!

Its not a patch on the U.K one,how on earth can Paula Abdul be a music critique, she had what,2 hit singles, mmm.
I apologise to all the Americans on here but the so called talent is rank as well,Simon is the only honest one and makes the show almost bearable.

Randy is a chameleon, he just blends in with whatever other judge makes a good point.
Paula is drunk more often than not.
Simon goes straight to the bone, no beating around the bush.
Ryan is gay
The way this season is going, if truly America is voting for Sanjaya, I believe America is sending a message of what a joke American Idolatry is
I'm even considering voting for him myself just to join in on the message.

The only problem with the show is the fairness of voters. They can't see who deserves to stay and who deserves to go home. After today's show,i realized how much of my time is wasted watching that dumb show. What the judges think doesn't matter, they can be wrong sometimes.Ultimately it's the viewers who decide. After tonights show, they might as well rename it america's most popular because apparently it's just a popularity contest.

There has to be a judge to counteract Simon (swoon) Cowell so I suppose Paula fitted the bill.
I really only like the first few weeks when the awful auditions are shown, great viewing then it gets boring.

Im enjoying watching it but I do think the whole performance atmosphere is really poor when you compare it to what we have in the UK, there doesnt seem to be much of a crowd and only a really tiny stage!

I think it's cringe-worthy viewing... Randy and Paula are just slimy... and what the hell is Cat Deeley doing there? Do they need her?
That Ryan bloke is more than adequate for backstage..
