you can actually.. but you shouldnt be so dependant on it. i MET my boyfriend through the internet.. but when i got to the phase of liking him..and telling him .. i decided it was either better i called him or talked to him in person..
thing is.. internet love is known as "unreal" because u can reveal ur true emotions to them without having to see them but when u finally do meet them.. u clam up and dont say anything.. which sort of kills it.. the love is then sort of not true because u rely on ur emotions to let the person see you.. thats a good thing because u should be open with the one u love.. but u can never be sure if its true and if the other person really does feel the same because u can easily interpret what they say differently and u cant tell if they're telling the truth of lying because u cant really see them..
basically.. if ur a shy person, its easier on the net.. but u cant clam up forever.. even if ur not shy u can FIND love on the net but u have to let it grow off the net or the relationship just isnt going anywhere.. have fun =)

Well you can find someone you really can like over the Internet but as for love i don't think so cause a person over the Internet can be very different from meeting them personally. So its a bit of both i think but its a great place to meet different people.

why not in the net
some people find the love of their life through it
but it doesn't mean you have to defend on the net
take a look around you
maybe you just can't see but there is a person who is loving you along the way

all is not as it seems. some people on the internet pretend to be someone or something else. be careful and if you were to meet someone from the internet be sure to meet in a public place such as a shopping center or resturant or club, and to bring a trusted friend .

the internet is one of the modern bridges that link all individuals. i have heard and know of several people ending up together who started it out on the internet. its a good start for people who can't stand to go out into the physical world and interact with the opposite sex.

Nope. I met a woman on the Internet a few weeks ago and she was psycho. She didn't want to discuss herself and only discussed me. I found out that she is divorced with a 10 year old kid. I also found out that she is an unfit mother and lost custody of the kid. I broke it off with her and she tried to telephone me.
Stay away. Don't kid yourself. It isn't worth the troubles.

yes you can ! i can prove it to you coz i found my love over internet in fact he is now my husband and we have already wonderful 3 kids. just be careful in choosing to be love coz there are lots of bad people scattered over the net.
